Memoir, 1945.

Contains a time line delineating Tippetts's military service, which suddenly ended with his death in a routine training accident aboard his B-24 Liberator Bomber. Also contains excerpts from letters and telegrams sent from the war department updating his family on his condition. Includes a description of his funeral, along with a poem written for him following his death. Also includes a short narrative about Tippetts's childhood. Photographs show Tippetts in full military dress, with his bombing crew and plane, with family members, and during his childhood.
